Saul Bass Report:
The Saul Bass Designer Report was a project for my Digital Imagining 1 Class, where I had to find a famous graphic designer and research their life and art. His work was revolutionary for title sequences and film posters. He would go on to study at the Brooklyn College, after graduation, he would go on to be a freelance Graphic Designer, working for various advertising companies and agencies, including Warner Bros.

Saul Bass is a 20th century American Graphic Designer. He was born in the Bronx, New York on May 8th, 1920 to two European Jewish immigrants. He is known for his film posters and motion-picture title sequences.

Through learning about Saul Bass’s work and recreating the style myself I definitely have learned how to achieve another style, along with taking concepts explored by his use of shape to take my work to the next level.
